Outdoor Adventures
I love exploring all kinds of places outside. My sense of smell is so powerful that even places I know well are new to me every time Iām there.

One one of my first walks with Ellen and Loren on a road, out in the country. I was fascinated by how many bunnies there were for me to dream of chasing.

When we're hiking near a big group of rocks, Loren says "Lina, Adventure Dog!" and I climb right up to the top. I look like I'm posing but I'm really checking out all the sights and smells from up there.

We went on a trip and found out that the largest single area of Pine trees in the world is in Arizona! I'm sitting and looking out over it from a high place.

Loren, Ellen, and I visited the Grand Canyon which was amazing and beautiful. In this photo I look like I was thinking deeply about the millions of years it took for the canyon to be formed but actually I was looking for lizards to chase over the edge (I love chasing!). Loren was holding my leash very strongly the whole time.

Loren and I went on a hike and came to a shallow river that we needed to walk across. I think you can tell from how I look that I really didn't want to do that.

Loren noticed a group of kids near where I didn't want to cross the water. He asked them if they wanted to try the project of helping me decide cross the river.

Those kids helped encourage me and I finally was able to cross the river. I never learned about water and swimming during my first two years (before I was adopted) so I'll need to borrow other people's courage to do it, at least for a while more.
One day there was a nice amount of snow here. I think it was the first time I ever saw or played in snow. I loved it!
