All Dressed Up
I love getting dressed up for Loren’s and my visits to hospitals, clinics, and schools! I’m so comfortable in all my different outfits that I can even jump through Loren’s arms while I’m wearing them. On our visits, Loren and I prefer me wearing nice flowers or outfits instead of a therapy dog vest because people just see me and smile instantly, with no worries that I might be a service dog they can’t pet so, no hesitation, just instant joy!
A photo of my current wardrobe wall. Loren never has me wear costumes that are cute or silly; only outfits that compliment and respect me. I'm very comfortable in my outfits. I even can jump through Loren's arms wearing anything I have.
Loren and I were very happy to be at the Banner Pediatric Oncology Prom Night. The theme for the prom was "Around the World." The next 4 photos show my different outfits as I went "Around the World."
I start in my Folklorico outfit from Mexico. After around 30 minutes, Loren and I ducked into a back room so I could change to a different outfit, from a different country.
My first change was to an outfit from Peru!
My next change was to an outfit from India. I loved the gold bling on my collar and the tassels on my skirt. I felt very fancy in this and I love how I'm holding my front paw in the photo, like a dancer in India!
My last change was to an outfit from Russia. I've never worn a babooshka before but it fit me and people loved the red fringe!
Getting ready for the week before Easter, 2026. I'll be wearing this to every hospital and clinic we visit that week.
This was a special Valentine's Day thank you celebration at the VA Hospital.
I wore these wings to 4 different hospitals and clinics during the week of Halloween. Loren told people that it was very strange; the night before, when I went to bed, I was a dog, but the next morning, when I woke up, I was a butterfly!
This was my outfit for the holidays
I wore this when I walked in the parade to raise money for the Pima Animal Care Center.
This is what I wore on St. Patrick's Day. The shamrocks in my skirt were shiny gold.
Loren couldn't resist buying these wings for me at a costume shop in Tucson. By coincidence, a few days later he got an email asking if we could join a visit to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Perfect!
For Valentine's Day, I my skirt was made of lacy roses and I had gold flowers and a heart on my collar.
I was getting calmer around people by walking with Loren at the Tucson Mall. He noticed that there was a Mexican puppet show there, so he asked if we could help publicize the show by dressing me up.
Banner Hospital had a prom for kids who had been in the hospital. The theme of the prom was “Under the Sea” so I wore a kind of shimmery mermaid outfit!
